You'll also enjoy some welcoming refreshments with your driver-guide who will drive you to Tarangire National Park, ready to start your amazing game drive.
The safari starts in Arusha after a brief introduction with your guide. You will proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through it, serving as the only water source for wildlife during dry seasons.
The park is well known for its large number of elephants, giant baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. After the game drive, you will drive to your lodge or hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your lodge or hotel and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch. Once we finish our game, our driver-guide will transfer you to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport, where the safari will end.
Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of about 330 sq km (127 sq miles), with up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) being covered by the Soda Lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent destination for birdwatching and has a good ecosystem for watching different wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffaloes, and the legendary tree-climbing lions.
During your game drive, you may also get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos. After an exciting day in the park, you'll be transferred to your next destination.
