Overview: With Serengeti clarity, 3 - days Safari gives you a chance to witness Big Five animals and other interesting Animals. You will also be able to meet Hadzabe and Datoga tribe in Lake Eyasi for a cultural experience. All this with the assistance of a Tour Operator based in Arusha, full board on safari, personal English-speaking guide, and private use of the jeep (with mineral water, power sockets, binoculars) and selected accommodations.
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your lodge and begin a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park for a wildlife game drive. You will carry lunch boxes to enjoy during the day.
The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River, which winds its way through the parklands and serves as the only source of water for wildlife during the dry season. Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds and diverse landscapes, ranging from seasonal swamps to savanna. During the game drive, you may have the opportunity to witness lions stalking their prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above.
Once the game drive is over, we will drive back to the lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay, marking the end of an exciting first day in Tarangire National Park.
After enjoying your breakfast, our safari guide will drive you to Lake Eyasi, where you will meet the Hadzabe tribe. This tribe is famous for their hunting skills, and you will have the opportunity to join them on a hunting expedition to witness their traditional methods.
After spending time with the Hadzabe, you will visit the Datoga tribe, who are well-known for their blacksmithing skills. You will learn about their craftsmanship and cultural practices. Additionally, you can stretch your legs by walking around Lake Eyasi and visiting local villages to experience the authentic African lifestyle.
After these enriching cultural activities, you will be driven back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay, marking the end of a memorable day immersed in the traditions of Lake Eyasi.
After breakfast, our tour guide driver will pick you up and depart for Ngorongoro Crater. You will enjoy a game drive inside the crater while carrying lunch boxes for the day.
Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the natural wonders of Africa. It is the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and home to approximately 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos. The crater also hosts a variety of bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be prepared to witness an incredible concentration of wildlife within a short time.
After the game drive, we will transfer you to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home or to another destination. This marks the end of your unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania.
